We have been on the move in PE! Pupils have been developing their passing and movement skills, learning how to perform accurate chest passes and stay ready to receive the ball. They then put these skills into action by exploring how to move into space at the right time and avoid interceptions.
In Geography, Year 4 have been exploring different European countries. Pupils used their research skills to investigate a European country of their choice, finding out about its human and physical geographical features. They then shared their discoveries, allowing us to learn more about the different countries across Europe.
We have had a fantastic time celebrating National Poetry Day! We were lucky enough to listen to Michael Rosen talk about one of his new poems, which has inspired us even more to go and watch him perform next term. The children have also been busy creating their own poems, and the results have been absolutely fantastic!
In Science, we have been learning all about food chains and the importance of looking after our teeth. We carried out a fascinating experiment using eggs and different liquids to investigate how certain drinks can affect our teeth. This gave us a great opportunity to explore why good dental hygiene is so important and how we can look after our teeth.
