At our school, we inspire pupils to become confident, creative and responsible users of technology. We use the Kapow Primary Computing scheme to deliver a broad, engaging and progressive curriculum that fully supports the National Curriculum for Computing.

Our lessons are carefully sequenced to develop pupils’ knowledge and skills year by year. Through exciting, hands-on learning, children explore computer systems and networks, programming, data handling, digital media and online safety. They are encouraged to think logically, solve problems, work collaboratively and develop resilience when faced with challenges.

Technology is constantly evolving, and our curriculum reflects this by providing pupils with current, relevant and meaningful learning experiences. Interactive lessons, real-world contexts and creative projects keep pupils motivated, engaged and enthusiastic about computing while preparing them for an increasingly digital world.

Online safety is woven throughout the curriculum, helping pupils understand how to use technology responsibly, respectfully and safely. We aim to equip every child with the digital knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive both now and in the future.
