  • School Council

Our School Council acts as a steering group for the pupils in our school. Made up of representatives from across the year groups, they work collaboratively to share ideas, discuss priorities, and help shape decisions that matter to children. The council ensures that pupils’ views are listened to and valued, playing an important role in strengthening pupil voice across the school.

Members of the School Council were democratically elected by their peers through a voting process, and they take great pride in the responsibility that comes with their role. They regularly meet to plan events, check on learning experiences around the school, and consider how different spaces can be improved for everyone. Through their work, they help make sure that all children feel represented and heard.

The impact of the School Council has already been clear. They have helped to redesign our library to make it a more welcoming and engaging space, planned a whole-school art event, and successfully secured new equipment to support science experiments. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment are helping to make positive changes across the school community.
